Gait acquisition

A baby is considered to be in this phase when they have been walking independently for more than 6 months, walking with more balance than in the previous phase. This is the period when balance and coordination are being refined, allowing the child to explore the world around them with more freedom. It is considered to last until approximately 3 years of age.
