Collection: Getting Started

It refers to the period from when the child starts walking independently until about 6 months later. At this stage, the baby begins to understand the movement of putting one foot in front of the other, developing balance.

The best approach is to allow the baby to walk barefoot, gaining awareness of movements and strengthening balance. However, this is not always possible. First-step shoes should mimic this experience, providing the sensation of walking barefoot but offering the necessary protection from the environment.
